Attackers use social media to post fake ads for the sale of lost suitcases, creating fake profiles. The administration emphasizes that these ads have nothing to do with the airport or its staff.

It is important to maintain vigilance when seeing suspicious ads and avoid clicking on the links provided in them. With record airport congestion, where more than 82 million luggage bags and suitcases were processed in 2022, protecting travelers from fraudsters is becoming especially relevant.

DNATA, which handles the baggage of more than 100 air carriers, actively attracts more than 1,300 employees during peak hours. Throughout 2022, they effectively used innovative conveyor belts and elevators laid under the lobby of Terminal 3 for 160 km to ensure the safety of luggage.

The loading process begins 180 minutes before the departure of the flight, with each bag undergoing inspections up to five times before loading on board. These technological measures are aimed at preventing fraud and ensuring the safety of baggage.
