Bar is one of the most popular cities in Montenegro, attracting the attention of investors with affordable real estate values. The population of the city is about 14,000 people, but during the tourist season many times more people come here. This creates a stable demand for real estate.
The cost of housing here is lower than in Budva or Kotor. Apartments start from 30,000 euros, but in recent years, against the background of growing popularity, they have grown significantly. Today, a property in a Bar in a nice area with a view of the sea can cost about 50,000, and a home near the coast — from 100,000 . Further price increases are forecast.
It is convenient to get to the Bar: there are international airports in Podgorica and Tivat, there are direct flights from Moscow. Tourists also often arrive in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and then cross the border by car. Due to its location, it is easy to travel from here to neighboring countries, for example, to Italy by ferry. Real estate in the Bar is chosen, among other things, precisely because of the location, the sea and the mountains. Thousands of tourists and travelers arrive every month.
Foreign citizens do not need a visa to enter for up to 30 days. The country, which has existed as an independent state since 2007, is actively developing tourism, offering a combination of scenic nature and affordable prices. It is cheaper to relax here than in Croatia or Italy: renting an apartment with a swimming pool for a week for a family of four, including flights and a car, will cost about 2,500 euros.
Although the hotel infrastructure is still inferior to that of Western Europe, Montenegro continues to develop as an attractive destination with a mild climate, a warm Adriatic Sea and a coast about 300 km long.
