You often hear from friends, acquaintances and just strangers who came from abroad from vacation that "there are such gorgeous things and at such low prices that it's just awesome." And how many of our compatriots give up everything, in the sense of the excursion program of their trip, in order to get to the sale in another boutique located a few dozen meters from the hotel. And how many souvenirs do you need to buy for relatives so that no one is offended, but it's not expensive either. Barcelona is no exception to the rule, and therefore here is a small overview of where you can buy at reasonable prices, good quality and with a good choice.
What attracts women's attention the most in the first place?
That's right, clothes, shoes, then accessories, and only after that cute trinkets, food and so on.
In Barcelona, you can get acquainted with fashionable European trends by visiting boutiques on Passeig de Gracia Street, where you will find shops "Armand Basi", "Adolfo Dominguez", "Contribuciones", and in the store "Calzados E Sole" you can order handmade shoes.
Lovers of sweets are simply obliged to visit such confectionery boutiques as Colmado Quilez where you can taste exquisite Spanish, or rather Barcelona chocolate, as well as admire the real masterpieces of chocolate on display.
Sometimes there is absolutely no appetite and mood to go to a restaurant, but it is necessary to eat. In this case, take a walk to the La Boqueria grocery market, where you can find not only vegetables and exotic fruits, but also amazing sweets, dried fruits, as well as meat products, which Catalonia is also famous for. But for cheese, wine and ham, it is better to go to the shops located in
the Eixample area.
Here, near the famous cathedral Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia, (Sagrada Familia Cathedral), you can buy various handmade gizmos as souvenirs.
But the most favorite place among fans of shopping in Barcelona remains the El Corte Ingles department store – eleven floors with various goods from groceries to souvenirs, from baby food to
car spare parts. Unfortunately, the guides give only a couple of hours to visit this "treasure island", so if you want to take a quiet walk and skimp, then plan at least half a day for this. Each floor of this "factory of goods" has its own purpose and its own assortment, therefore it is difficult to leave without shopping – everyone will find something interesting for themselves, well, after a difficult hike, you can relax on the top floor in a self-service restaurant, and with some luck admire ancient Barcelona from a 30-meter
height.
