Our pediatric urology clinics use minimally invasive techniques to ensure less scarring, rapid recovery and painless treatment. Laparoscopic methods are successfully used in operations for Hirschsprung's disease, which manifests itself with symptoms such as circumcision, undescended testicle, appendicitis, cough of the gallbladder, bloody diarrhea, vomiting, fever, bloating, and cystoscopic methods are successfully used for kidney stones, bladder, tumors and infections.

Circumcision, which is one of the requirements of Islam and is called among Muslims the first steps of boys into adulthood, is the separation of the skin covering the surface of the penis from the penis with a simple surgical operation. In order not to damage the penis during this procedure and to ensure the necessary hygienic conditions, circumcision should be performed by doctors of the pediatric urology clinic in medical institutions.

Urological diseases of boys and girls undergoing treatment in pediatric urology clinics can be listed as follows:

Non-omission of the testicle: In male infants, the testicles in the abdominal cavity during development in the womb sink into bags called the scrotum between the 32nd and 36th weeks of pregnancy and take their proper place. In some children, this descent may not have occurred or not have been completed. In these cases, the problem in the testicles is determined by a detailed examination that is carried out after birth, although most of them are carried out in the first 3 months, treatment of undescended testicles should be carried out before the age of 1 year with surgery.
Hydrocele: Hydrocele, which develops as an excessive accumulation of fluid in the membranes surrounding the testicles and as a result of testicular edema, is also known among humans as a water hernia. The disease can be congenital or occur at any point in life. The diagnosis can be easily made based on the patient's medical history and clinical examination.
Cyst of the spermatic cord: In the cyst of the spermatic cord, which is another derivative of a water hernia (hydrocele), it develops with the formation of a water-filled cyst in the middle part of the groin and nearby areas. Its treatment is similar to hydrocele and should be carried out in pediatric surgery clinics.
Hypospadias (Sunnah of the Prophet): Hypospadias, which is considered a congenital anomaly in boys, is also referred to as the opening of the urethra to the bottom. In a penis that has a healthy structure, the urethra (urinary tract) ends at the tip of the glans, while in people with this disease, the end of the urethra is located on the lower surface of the penis or in the lower part of the penis. The further back the urethra is relative to the glans penis, the more serious the size of the disease. In some advanced cases, the end of the urinary tract may be further behind the testicles. The only treatment option is surgery.
Appendage of the testicle (inflammation of the testicles); Infection of the appendage of the testicle, part of the male genital organs, usually progresses and spreads to the testicles, therefore the disease is called epididymurchitis or orchiepidididymitis. Although the disease is mainly observed in adulthood, it can also occur in childhood.
Infections such as balanitis, postitis and prostatitis: Balanitis is the name given to infections of the glans penis, foreskin postitis and prostatitis of the prostate. All three different diseases are infectious diseases observed in the male genitalia, and some of them can be observed together. These diseases, which can progress to more serious proportions if left untreated, should be evaluated by pediatric urologists.
Varicocele: Varicocele, which is one of the urological diseases that cause infertility, develops in the form of varicose veins in the testicle and, consequently, a deterioration in the thermal balance in the testicles. There is a certain temperature range in which spermatozoa can live, and since the body temperature is above this range, the testicles are directed outward. The deterioration of the thermal balance due to varicocele, as well as the accumulation of dirty blood in the veins in the testicle, negatively affect the functions of the testicles, sperm health and hormonal balance, leading to the problem of infertility, and therefore the disease should be treated with surgical interventions.
Inguinal hernia: Inguinal hernia, also known as inguinal hernia, develops when intra-abdominal tissues abnormally protrude and cause swelling (hernia) in the inguinal area. It can be seen at any age, as well as in childhood. The treatment is applied in the form of removal of a hernia from the growth with the help of surgical interventions.
Ovarian cysts and torsion in girls: Ovarian cysts, which can develop for various reasons, are one of the most common diseases of the genital organs among the female sex. Although this is usually observed in women of reproductive age, in some cases ovarian cysts can also occur in girls. These cysts, which may be benign or malignant, should be surgically removed if they exceed a certain size, as they have a risk of rupture or disruption of blood flow in the ovary due to rotation around themselves (torsion).
Cleavage of the labia and closed hymen: Various abnormalities such as cleavage of the labia and closed hymen, also known as the hymen, can be observed in girls due to some congenital differences in the shape of the penis. Since such abnormalities can cause serious health problems in childhood or early adolescence, if they are detected, they should be treated immediately with surgical interventions.
Cysts, Tumors, and Kidney stones: Cysts, tumors, and kidney stones can cause the kidneys to fail to function properly and therefore cause serious health problems that can lead to organ damage. For this reason, cysts, tumors and stones that are not amenable to follow-up or drug treatment as a result of examinations and diagnostic tests conducted in pediatric urology clinics must be surgically removed.
Renal ureter (UPJ) - Nodular strictures of the ureteral bladder (UVJ): Stenosis and obstruction of the ducts in the kidneys, which complicate the tasks of removing urinary and harmful substances from the body and reabsorption of substances necessary for the body with urine, are serious problems that can cause a violation of the water-electrolyte balance in the body, as well as kidney damage and they require immediate treatment.
Enlargement of the ureter and stones: Just like stenosis of the kidneys, ureters, and bladder nodes, enlargement of the ureter can lead to the kidneys not being able to fully perform their function and, accordingly, many balances in the body, especially fluids and electrolytes, can be disrupted. Stones formed in the ureter can cause problems such as blocked ducts, therefore, a decrease and cessation of diuresis, increased kidney pressure and organ damage, and they need to be treated.
Vesicoureteral reflux (PMR): The reflux of urine from the bladder into the ureteral tubes, which are channels connecting the kidneys to the bladder, is called vesicoureteral reflux. It usually develops due to deterioration of the valves between the bladder and ureter due to constant urinary retention and is usually observed in young children. This disease, which can cause kidney damage, can be treated with surgical interventions.
Bladder infections and stones: Like all infections that can occur in any of the organs of the excretory system, bladder infections threaten kidney health if they are not treated in a timely manner. At the same time, stones in the bladder can clog the urinary tract, which leads to increased pressure and, as a result, damage to organs. For this reason, infections and stones found in the bladder must be treated.
Exstrofia vesika: The opening of the bladder from the abdominal cavity due to the lack of formation of the anterior abdominal wall is a rare congenital (congenital) disease called Exofia Vesika. Although there are various types and methods of treatment that vary depending on the type of disease, all treatments are presented in the form of surgical operations.
The diagnostic and treatment methods used in the pediatric urology clinic can be listed as follows:

Laparoscopic interventions (closed surgical operations)
Endoscopic interventions (open surgical operations)
Colonoscopy, rectoscopy, anoscopy
Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy
Reviews of urodynamics
Bronchoscopy
Systemerti
Mobility studies
Esophageal manometry
Anal manometry
pH Meter studies (GER diagnostics)
Uroflowmetry
Esophagoscopy, gastroscopy, duodenoscopy
If your child has any of the above urological diseases, or if you suspect that he has one or more of these diseases, you can contact the pediatric urology clinic with your child and undergo the necessary diagnostic tests, and if necessary, begin the appropriate treatment process.
