Spain Square
The starting point of our trip will be the Plaza de Espana – one of the most charming places in Barcelona, traditionally attracting masses of tourists. The history of Spain's second largest square begins in the 1900s, and it received its modern design by 1929 - the opening date of the World Exhibition (Expo) held in the country. The authors of the project were Guillem Busquets and Josep Pui Kadalfaka, and Antonio Darderem completed the creation of a magnificent ensemble.
In the center of the square you will see a delightful "Magic Fountain" designed by Gaudi's student Josep Maria Huhol, in the heart of which there is a pedestal with sculptural compositions symbolizing the prosperity and prosperity of Spain.
