International Bareboat Skipper (Sail) is the rights of a yacht captain of the Sail category with the right to manage sailing yachts up to 24 meters.
The training for a yacht captain under the International Bareboat Skipper program consists of two parts and takes place in Spain in the city of Torrevieja.:
1.Theoretical training – training takes place on board a 42f yacht approved according to IYT standards.
2. Practical training (marine practice) is inextricably linked with the theoretical part and takes place on the same yacht under the supervision of an experienced instructor.
Obtaining a VHF Radio operator certificate is mandatory.
The skipper's (captain's) qualification certificate — allows you to charter a ship independently without a crew and operate your own vessel, is necessary for insuring a yacht and receiving insurance compensation.
