How to get
You can get to Khao Sok National Park from Phuket by bus, which departs from the central bus station in Phuket Town. Bus travel time is every hour from 6.00 to 14.00, the cost is 180 baht, the journey takes 4 hours. The driver or conductor should be told that you are going to Khao Sok. By car, following the 401 road, you need to turn left at kilometer 109 to the entrance to the national park.

Khao Sok National Park in Thailand covers an area of 740 square kilometers, and together with the surrounding lands covers 3 thousand square kilometers of state-protected territory. Almost the entire park is located on limestone cliffs – ancient coral reefs that are more than 160 million years old. There are deep karst caves, dense bamboo thickets, waterfalls and rivers. One of the main attractions of the park is the man-made Cheo Lan Lake.
Khao Sok National Park is home to 48 species of mammals, 187 species of birds, thousands of species of insects. Here you can see the brown Tibetan macaque, the langur monkey, the Japanese and long-tailed macaque, wild elephants, tapirs and the Malay sun bear.
You can stay in the park for a few days and ride elephants. Go rafting on the river on a bamboo raft or canoe, walk to the waterfalls and look into one of the caves.
