How to get
10 minutes drive from Bayahibe, next to La Romana.
This unique cave is located in the thickets of a tropical forest, and it is not so easy to find it without a guide. Padre Nuestro Cave consists of several underwater tunnels with a length of 180 meters and a width of 10-20 meters.
The entrance to the cave is a huge, 30-meter grotto. Then you have to go down the steps underground, where you will see a grotto with an underground lake 14 meters deep. The water in the lake almost never drops below 26 degrees.
During the dive, you will sail through several flooded grottoes with sparkling stalactites and stalagmites. For more convenient movement around the cave, cables are stretched along the entire route. The approximate dive time is 35 minutes.
