A British couple has been robbing gym-goers for a year to relax in Dubai and Paris

A British couple, Ashley Singh (39 years old) and Sophie Brouilli (20 years old), were convicted of stealing 250,000 pounds over the course of a year. They robbed gym-goers to spend a luxury vacation in Dubai and Paris. The couple used the stolen funds to buy expensive things and a luxurious lifestyle, demonstrating it on social networks.

Their actions caused damage to 18 victims, including professional athletes. After multiple allegations of fraud, the couple were detained at Gatwick Airport after returning from Paris. As a result of the trial, Singh was sentenced to three years in prison, and Bruya was sentenced to 20 months with a two-year suspended sentence.
