The amount of contributions for registration of documents for work in 2024 has been updated

Since January 24, 2024, changes in the amount of contributions for registration of employment documents have come into force in Turkey. This news is important for all foreign workers planning to work in the country.

According to the updated rates, now the cost of a work permit for up to 1 year is 7,345 Turkish lira (approximately $243), an urgent two-year permit is 14,690 Turkish lira ($486), and an indefinite work permit is 73,480.6 Turkish lira ($2,429). Additional registration costs amount to 565 Turkish liras ($18).

It is necessary to keep in mind the important points related to employment. A residence permit does not grant the right to work, and only citizenship or a work permit gives this status.
