Real estate in Alicante has risen in price by 141% in a decade
According to data for the first half of 2024, the real estate market in the Spanish province of Alicante is showing steady growth, despite a slight decrease in sales. The total number of transactions in the six months of this year decreased by 7% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 95,220 transactions. Although this figure is inferior to the record of 2023 with its 102,296 transactions, it remains one of the highest in the last ten years, underlining stable demand.
The average price of real estate in Alicante continues to increase, reaching €162,132, which is 7% higher compared to last year. Over the past ten years, the value of real estate here has increased by 141%, and sales have increased by 93%, confirming the long-term price growth in the region.
The number of new projects decreased by 33%, amounting to 2,999 facilities under construction, which is 2% higher than the average over the past decade.
