If signed, Spain will be able to return illegal immigrants to Kazakhstan without complicated bureaucratic procedures, upon request, if these persons have a residence permit in Kazakhstan or other official documents granting the right to stay on its territory.

The readmission procedure is one of the tools aimed at combating illegal migration, and in this case it involves sending illegal migrants to their country of legal residence. Thus, persons who illegally crossed the Spanish border can be returned to Kazakhstan if they previously had the right to reside on its territory. This decision also applies to stateless persons who arrived in Spain through Kazakhstan.

Such agreements are an important element of international cooperation in the field of migration policy. They help countries to control the flows of illegal migrants more effectively and prevent violations of migration legislation.
