Starting from March 1, 2024, tourists from Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia will have a unique opportunity not only to enjoy the beauty of the region, but also to explore new prospects in the field of work. The Open Balkans Joint Initiative aims to create a common labor market for citizens of these three countries, which opens up amazing prospects for tourists who want to combine business with pleasure.

The signing of two key protocols by the Heads of Government of Serbia, Macedonia and Albania was an important step in the implementation of this ambitious project. The first Protocol establishes rules for free access to the labor market of the Western Balkans, providing a unique opportunity for tourists to gain new experience and engage in work in the amazing conditions of this region.

The second protocol, aimed at introducing electronic identification for citizens of the countries of the region, emphasizes the importance of modern technologies in ensuring the safety and convenience of tourists. This electronic identification mechanism will facilitate more effective interaction with the workforce and increase the level of security for all participants in this unique project.

The Open Balkans Regional Initiative was launched in 2019, bringing together Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia. This created a common economic zone for 12 million people, dissolving borders and ensuring the free movement of both people and goods. Now, with the introduction of a common labor market, tourists can overcome not only geographical but also labor barriers, opening up new opportunities for self-development and acquiring unique experiences in this exciting region.

This new chapter in the history of the "Open Balkans" is designed to create unique opportunities for tourists, inspiring them to travel and at the same time providing a chance to expand their horizons in the field of work activity. On March 1, a new stage begins its development, providing a unique chance for everyone who dreams of traveling with benefits.
