Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia open a common labor market in 2024

The signing of two key protocols by the Heads of Government of Serbia, Macedonia and Albania was an important step in the implementation of this ambitious project. The second protocol, aimed at introducing electronic identification for citizens of the countries of the region, emphasizes the importance of modern technologies in ensuring the safety and convenience of tourists. The Open Balkans Regional Initiative was launched in 2019, bringing together Serbia, Albania and Northern Macedonia.
